let's go back in time.

you know what's funny?

noone is content with their age. we all strive to be a teenager, thinking it's cool driving, being in high school, and graduating. then we want to be an adult. having our own place, going to college, living on our own.

then...we realize, it's not what we expected. sure we go to homecoming, and dances, and drive to the mall without our parents. but then we get jobs, preparing for college, take the SATs and AP courses.
we're tired of school, our parents, getting grounded, the homework and applications we fill out.
we want to go college, be on our own, vote, get married. then, we start paying bills and taxes. getting insurance for the family and the car...sure, it all turned out great.

but then we think about it. deep down, we find ourselves wishing to be at the place we never thought we wanted to be at;the place in our life when we are seriously in our parents control. where our freedom isn't that great.

who knew we missed the stage where all you did was color all day. you took naps and went where ever your mom went. there were no dances or privileges. who knew we missed when our punishment was just no dessert, not taking away our ipod or tv.

but we don't care...we want it.
we want to be that little kid again. and we wish we could hold on to it just a little longer.
